I actually had a nightmare last night. I dreamed for some reason that I was pulling a large branch covered with leaves down the street to put in my yard..as if? Apparently, I lost all my marbles in the dream too. . Anyway, after doing that in my dream I was in bed, although it was still early..The skies got very dark and gray like they did yesterday, some wind was about..and into my open window..no screen in the dream..a witch with a purple face and hay like hair, looked a bit more like a scarecrow but was riding a broom and had a witches hat came right up to my window. I woke up in a fright before she could fly in! I actually was making a noise when I woke up. I haven't had a nightmare for ages. When is the last time you had one?

That would have scared me, too! The last nightmare I remember having was the one that woke the neighbors across the street because I was screaming so loud. (My first wife LOVED watching scary movies and we watched the first Child's Play movie.)

I watch scary movies all the time, and very rarely if ever do they give me a nightmare, but one time I was watching one of the Scream movies or TV shows before bed..and I dreamed..the scream character was trying to stab me. A bit too much dramatic action in that one.

@snowy22315 I stopped watching scary movies and reading scary books. They both give me nightmares.

@DaddyEvil I'm not that impressionable. Scary stuff is my fave. True crime is also entertaining in kind of a voyueristic or Thank God it's not me way.

Last nightmare I remember was dreaming about walking in the dark streets in the suburbs of New Orleans that is separated by a canal.

Probably isn't the best place to be walking at night

@snowy22315 The area is not exactly the safest area since it is near a lake and a canal with limited lighting.

That was a scary dream. I had one two nights ago, I was sleeping and in my dream I was in my bad looking at the open window, turning my head I noticed a green snake on my pillow, I asked to my husband to throw him out, but he could not catch it... I woke up.

@snowy22315 - No, particularly because I have a phobia for snakes.

I've had some pretty disturbing dreams but can't say I've had an actual nightmare in awhile. Your dream would have scared me too!!

Yeah, how would you like to have a witch on a broomstick, headed for your window?

It's been a while, probably a month or so. Mostly, I have quite enjoyable dreams.

That is really scary. I had the third dream about my husband yesterday. We were going somewhere and he stopped into a mechanic's garage. He fell and hit his head on the concrete. I yelled for someone to call 911 but they never came. I called to ask where they were; and the person said they had no one available to come.
