Hello everyone. I hope your day is off to a good start. It is 75 degrees F and sunny here at the Jersey Shore. The high for today is 81. Looks like it is going to be a perfect day weather-wise. I was surprised to wake up at about 6am today after being up in the middle of the night. Hey whatever. I don't have to get on a normal sleep schedule for another 2 weeks. My big plan for the day is *drumroll* to go to the pool! I need to order some groceries but nothing crazy. My fridge and freezer can't hold much more. (nice problem to have I know) A neighbor had some of my homemade hummus the other day and asked me to make her some. I need some veg to make an interesting California roll-inspired salad that I saw on Smitten Kitchen. I need some dishwasher tabs since the thing sucks so much I have to run a load like 3 times to get it clean. I got "paid" today so that was nice to see in my checking account. I can't do much with it though as the majority will have to go to rent on the 1st. I don't actually get paid until Sept 6th. That will go toward bills. I'm not planning to spend much in the meantime anyway. As I always do each year I'll get a few polo shirts, some new khakis, some new shoes for the upcoming school year but they will likely come from Old Navy unless I'm feeling bougie and look at UnderArmour. Haven't seen/heard/smelled Smokey McSmokerson outside for the past couple of days which is strange. Maybe he is back in the hospital. Maybe he just has no money for cigarettes and pot. In any case he is not missed! What an exciting life I live. What's everyone else up to today?
