No pool today

I assume it is open since I didn't get a text message about it. I was up early and then was tired by 10 so I decided to go back to sleep. It was cloudy anyway. In the pool buddy chat one woman said she didn't know if she was going to go due to the clouds. The other one is in Virginia headed to Bucees.
I'm up now but the sun is spotty. My face is fried though after the past couple of days of me being an idiot and not using SPF. There's even a patch on my nose that is like bloody/scabby. Not even sure what happened there.
Soooooo I'm taking the day off. I'm in a salty mood anyway. I'm putting myself in time out and am just going to order some groceries. I will put some time in on moisturizing my face. We'll try on the pool again tomorrow. Darwin knows I don't need to get any darker at this point. I'm not trying to get deported by ICE unless they drop me off in Cozumel, Mexico.

These days I primarily use philosophy's Hope In A Jar water cream. It is expensive but a little does go a long way. I keep an eye on sales and buy when they are doing good ones. A couple of weeks ago they did BOGO so I bought a jar along with eye cream. Between that and the Swagbucks rewards it makes it easier on the wallet.
I do also like their regular Hope In A Jar and their Purity moisturizer. I also really like Clinique's Moisture Surge. Again--not cheap. I'm so weird. I'll use cheapo shampoo/conditioner/soap but I like my pricey skin care stuff.

@NJChicaa I’ll go all in on skin care if I can; any day over hair. I’ll keep an eye out for that stuff, thanks. I did get to sample one really expensive face cream once (Sk-II), have you ever heard of that? It was good stuff. I got a second jar, and wanted to sell the unopened jar, but who is going to buy that?

Please use your SPF. I don't like to hear about your getting burned. Have a good Sunday.

I hope your nose heals up okay. I always get blisters if I'm out in the sun too long, even with a good sunblock on. We go through so much aloe vera gel it isn't even funny.

I do not blame you for taking the day off from going to the swimming pool today.

If I ever go US, there is a high chance that they will deport me to China even through I am a Singaporean.

I sure hope you can enjoy the pool again tomorrow, My dad used to put cold sour cream on this face when it got too red from the sun,

Um...when you tan so much that you get bloody/scabby places, that is skin damage and a precursor to skin cancer. Please put on some sunscreen, you've tanned enough, girl!
