Battle of the Coffee Pots

Happy Monday Everyone! it's a very cloudy day here today and the temperatures dropped. Without the sun it looks dismal.
My daughter got up in a very silly mood this morning.
I'll preface this by saying that we have two coffee makers. One that I prefer which brews a whole pot and the other which makes a single cup and uses Kcups (pods).
This morning she decided that she wanted flavored coffee and I always start my day with black coffee (no milk or sugar).
She decided to make a game out of it and put her Kcup in the Keurig and pushed the button for the whole pot to brew. "Let's see which one finishes first" she said 
Absolutely no competition as the Keurig single cup won and I had to wait an extra few minutes for my coffee.
Don't know what started her day off with the silliness since she's facing a work day that is going to be stressful. At least I got a chuckle
The weekend flew by (as they always do) and nothing planned for today except the usual things to do around the house and once that's done I can hopefully finish my book.
How was your weekend?

I'm glad you're both in a good mood. 
The weekend seemed to fly away... Of course, I slept the daytimes away but usually, I get some stuff done at night, but not this time. I was exhausted and slept several hours both nights.
Our doctor appointments are done now, we took a letter to the Post Office and one to the Welfare office. Now we're home again. (Good thing, too... My right eyes is swelling closed. I had to park away from buildings and cars so I wouldn't accidentally hit anything.)
I'm tired and ready for bed now. Hope you have a good day.

Same here also.temperature was dropped to the minimum.due to intense rainfall.weekend has gone like anything.Not feeling today as a week day. Still body has not awakened and prepared for this week.
I also search for good things early in the morning to start the day with smiles.But I were lazy to start this week.

Her morning was racy today.
I had a near perfect work day today, it was wonderful, even though it was 45 minutes longer-we were busy.
My weekend was terrific.
Grandpa and I spend most of the day on Saturday at our son's place because he was gone golfing and then him and his friends did their fantasy football picks. They went in order based on how they finished their golf game-he finished in 5th place out of 9 so that was his place for the picks.

My weekend was ok. Yesterday I did my laundry and called my eye doctor find out the status of my news eyeglasses. They didn't give me a date when they would be in so I still have to wait.
