It felt really good

Ellen's class (my former class) had several adult emergencies today and so they needed help. I was able to go in for three hours and substitute. It felt great. Then I drove 45 minutes from the school to take 1st aid and CPR, and afterwards bought a burger for Bob and I and drove on home, which was an hour to my town. I am getting prepared because I will substitute in that same room tomorrow, all day. As I was telling @AmbiePam I had more energy because I was working.

I'm glad you had a good day and are feeling more energetic now... Hopefully you'll keep having good days. Did you enjoy the heat today? It was 102F here and, at 3 am, is just now below 80F. We have anther day just like it today (since it's after midnight.) We keep getting predictions of rain but so far haven't seen any but it is cloudy and looks like rain. The high humidity isn't helping matters.

I did NOT enjoy the heat. Tuesday we must have gotten your predicted rain. We had rain but it was not in the forecast. It came anyway.

I tell you, at my last job the fact that I was needed gave me energy I didn’t know I could have. Gradually, little tasks took me down, but I felt so good about so many things.

@AmbiePam A lot of the problem is the heat and the air quality. Oh, and I walked about four times as much as I usually do, on the concrete floors. It will not be every day.
