It started off today at 81F which was not that bad at all. Now at 6PM it is now 77 which is nice and cool in the air. I do not like it when it is really hot outside. You do not even want to go outside. But it ended up being cool this afternoon.
The rest of the week will be in the 80's which is not as bad as the 90's and 100's. School starts here September 2.
Most parents are happy when school starts but I used to be sad. I used to do something fun with my kids every day that I was off of work.

It wasn’t as hot as forecast but still icky.
Love the Weinermobile! Got to see it in person when it was in front of Churchill Downs one year.

It was pretty pleasant today. We were in different areas. as we were on a trip, but it was only 76 when we got back. I'll take it.

It was 102F here today and, at almost 3 am is finally below 80F.
I always did fun things with Pretty when I was off from work, too. I don't understand parents who just want their kids to go play at other kids' houses. (We often threw small parties and Pretty invited her best friends to stay overnight or for the weekends with us. Once their parents got to know me, they were always happy to leave their kids with me.)
