Have you tried fish sauce?

Tonight I watched a video and then learned about fish sauce. Actually here we don't use much fish sauce. It is quite common for us to use soy sauce. I tried the fish sauce before but it was not very surprised me so much. This video mentioned a Red Boat fish sauce. Perhaps it is the best brand for fish sauce. I checked its price online and it's not very cheap. I am curious about its taste. Perhaps it can really make the food taste wonderful

Same as @NJChicaa I tried and did NOT like at all. I even threw the sauce left in the bottle.

Actually according to the video, there is also fish sauce in Europe. Does it taste differently?

Here we don't use it like salt. We just use it like monosodium glutamate and it gives us an extra fresh flavor.

I never use commercial sauces. I flavor my fish or chicken with natural herbs and spices.

Probably. After all, they are made from fish and salt.

The processing may be different in each country, just hearing the word fish makes me not want to use it unless the taste is really right for my tongue.

I've never had or used fish sauce and this brand is not familiar to me. I have seen fish sauce used in many recipes when watching cooking shows on tv. Really don't know if I would be interested in trying it as I'm really not a fan of fish.

If so, perhaps you can leave it alone as it may be fishy to you.

I thought it was popular in your side as this brand is from your country. Perhaps Asians like it much more.

Yes, it’s always in our pantry. We add it to some dishes for flavor, but not everything. There are a lot of fish sauce brands in the market.

I use sauce very less.that too fish sauce the name itself first time to me. Sauce triggers acidity .So never dared to try them too often.very occasionally I use
