It's amazing what big sheds can hide

On a property next to a road we use regularly is an aeroplane. We have long been intrigued as to how it got there and what is the story behind it. A few days ago, Vince called in to the place and made himself known to the owner.
When he arrived home, he couldn’t stop talking. The plane is a 308 GT Ferrari and will be used for spares. It was used by an aerial photographer and there is a hole cut in the floor where the camera used to sit. There are two more small planes hanging from the roof of his big shed.
Also in the shed was a 308 GT Ferrari which he drives occasionally. He has offered to take Vince for a drive in it one day. He is working on two cars – a 1929 Packard 640 Straight-Eight. Vince found a restored one for sale in the US for around US$800,000 so I guess this one will be worth much the same when it’s finished. You can also see the rear end of an E-Type Jaguar.

There are two cars in the photos that I like a lot, the E-Type Jaguar and the 1929 Packard.I never liked Ferrari cars. The step father of my husband had one and I also never wanted to be taken for a drive, he used to drive too fast and I did not feel safe at all.

A friend of mine restores old cars and sells them for a high price but I've never known him to restore or sell anything that expensive.
I'm sure Vince will enjoy the ride in the Ferrari when the time comes.
