Not too much of August left. The Golden rods are out, and temps at least here are gradually getting more comfortable. I dropped my remote in a cup with liquid last night and it killed the batteries. I had back ups around here, but none of them were new and they didn't work either. It's a nasty day and I don't want to go anywhere. I guess I will just watch TV on the phone tonight.m, and or the echo show or Kindle. I could also watch something on the puter.

Not having a working remote would "almost" be my worst nightmare. Hope you don't have any more butterfinger moments today

I’m just trying to stay out of the heat. We’re getting a nice cool off in the next few days though. I also need to catch up on my surveys if I want some vacation money. I plan on very few souvenirs, but I’d like to be prepared, just in case.
My remote batteries went out this morning. I’m lucky I found new ones; the little container had been kicked under the couch.

I tried other ones. Nothing wanted to work. Hopefully some brand new ones will fix it right up

I am sorry about the remote. I am glad you can watch something on the phone or computer though. We are actually getting a cooler day today! A true miracle, a high of only 82. Yay!

That"s wonderful We will be in the 70's and low to mid 80's for quite sometime. I'm not complaining.
