Yes, I'm happy she can come home on weekends. I'm preparing some food for her to take to the dorm so she doesn't need to cook much and save her time. She is a light eater so it's easy

@rakski Oh, that's handy, then. I always mailed homemade stuff to Pretty when she was in college. I'd wrap homemade rolls in Ziploc bags and ship those to her and, once, sent her a full homecooked meal. I put the meal in Ziploc bags and then stuffed Ziploc bags full of ice around it so nothing went bad on the trip. She said there was still ice in the bags when the box was delivered to her. I also tried to send her some little thing I thought she'd like. She said all her dorm mates crowded around when she opened the boxes to see what crazy things I'd packed for her each month.

@DaddyEvil I'm actually making coffee jelly for my daughter. it's her favorite dessert.
