That's what we ate for breakfast today.
We usually have big breakfast every Saturday especially now that daughter will be spending time at the dorm. She can eat with us only during weekends if her time permits so we are taking advantage of it now that her classes just started. We don't know how busy she will be after a few weeks or months. We also talked a lot about her new experiences during breakfast.
What's you breakfast/lunch/dinner?

I'm glad she's close enough to come home on the weekends as long as she has time to do it.
I didn't eat lunch today and just ate a Blueberry Pop Tart for supper but will probably go in and fix something more after while.

@rakski Oh, that's handy, then.
I always mailed homemade stuff to Pretty when she was in college. I'd wrap homemade rolls in Ziploc bags and ship those to her and, once, sent her a full homecooked meal. I put the meal in Ziploc bags and then stuffed Ziploc bags full of ice around it so nothing went bad on the trip. She said there was still ice in the bags when the box was delivered to her.
I also tried to send her some little thing I thought she'd like. She said all her dorm mates crowded around when she opened the boxes to see what crazy things I'd packed for her each month.

Yes, it is very familiar to me. I know some Ilocanos and they usually talk about papaitan and diningding, which I do not eat. I also heard about the uric acid effect of those

That sounds like a lovely family breakfast
. Today I just had a simple breakfast—bread and coffee. Nothing fancy, but it keeps me going.
