At least half of it is AI

So I have been watching videos about causes and alternative cures for diabetes most of the afternoon. When the videos are well done you almost cannot tell that it is AI. When it is poorly done it is full of contradictions and scrambled audio. On the best one I watched the guy had some weird hand gestures he kept repeating that looked like sign language. He also said a couple of words strangely. That was the biggest tip off. And it was not a foreigner saying a word with an accent. He had no noticeable accent. It leaves me wondering if there is any truth to what is being presented at all. They are all different ploys to sell various herbal supplements. Oh, and their "experts" have names that are actually those of other well known performers, not doctors. One was even featuring a man who said he was "Tom Hanks" Another was a British musician, not a doctor, even though he supposedly had written a number of books. You could not find the books on the internet. I think I am amused. I am not sure if I am any smarter. Oh, and the other gimmick is " limited supplies, going out of business due to tariffs and difficulty importing. Buy what you need RIGHT NOW supplies are limited. It is not to say that some of these supplements might work as well as prescriptions, because they might, but who wants to risk their money to find out? The fact that it seems to be AI generated makes me skeptical at best.

AI is the beginning of the end for the U.S. and the world. It is not reliable! Look at the chat bots that cannot help you with customer service questions! The soon AI is stopped the better we will all be.

We have to all be on our toes or we will be fooled. Second grade teachers used AI last year for a big project for their kids. Very sad to me, because of all the obvious errors.

@GardenGerty I have used it just to see what it can do with writing Ebay descriptions. Now it cannot see the item and only goes by the title and whatever info it pulls up, which may or may not be correct for your item. I only use it for a base sometimes and edit and add to it after corrections. It's no way 100%.

Reminds me of the play I recently saw, where one of the characters was named "Burt Reynolds--not that Burt Reynolds"...

Yes, they should acknowledge that it is not who you might think it is. Sounds like a cute play.

@GardenGerty It was. It was The Golden Girls, with the 'ladies' played by guys.

Looks like many videos are AI generated ones. It's going to be difficult for us which one is human one.

We should now be more suspicious of all the news, videos and all. More people tends to use AI irregardless if the news are fake or not

I don't care for AI generated anything. I am leery of what is being presented these days. The only time I've used AI was to generate a picture. I would never use it for my writing, etc.

I do not care for it either. I write better than AI and I am sure you do too.

AI to me is something that really scares me. Eventually you won't be able to tell the difference, and when that happens, I think it can be dangerous depending on how it is used. I wish it would just go away, but of course, that won't happen. The genie is already out of the bottle.

The weird way some words are spoken tips me off every time to AI generated crap. It happens on YT videos where somebody doesn't want to have their voice online. As soon as the first work is misspoken, I go to another video. AI generated stuff is crap, in my opinion.

I would be also wary about anything being realistic when it comes to Al, I have gotten some actual Al generated information and rechecking it was correct, So who really knows, Perhaps this might interest you

Many of those natural treatments turn up in the ingredient lists of the supplements. I was taking one supplement, but had a bad experience with overall body pain and quit. I showed it to my doctor. Her comment was "there are a lot of things in this". I have tried some of the things often, and some help, others do not.

You really have to be on the ball now to differentiate between what is genuine and what is AI.
