I am currently in Monroe, LA babysitting and dogsitting for my daughter who has skipped town with her husband for the LSU-Clemson football game Saturday night. They flew out earlier this morning.
My granddaughter is at school, so it is just me and the husky here right now. Her name is Meka and she has been sleeping most of the day so far. She will move from my granddaughter's room to the den and back and forth. I suppose she is just making sure that I am still here.
I will be going to pick my granddaughter up within the hour, so things should liven up around here. It's been a quiet afternoon and welcome after getting up this morning at 6 to get her off to school. Then we stayed for the Fairytale parade they had through the halls at school. Fun stuff for the kids and the costumes were all good, too.

It was. Some had some great costumes! There were lots of princesses!!
My son in law is a graduate of Clemson, and of course since my daughter grew up in Baton Rouge and I worked at LSU for over 25 years, she is an LSU fan. So, they decided to take a little trip and go to the game LSU-Clemson game Saturday night.

They will have a good time and visit my son in law's father today. My daughter has not met him yet. Then tomorrow night is the football game they are going to. Sunday will be visiting more relatives in the area and/or hitting the beach. They will be flying home on Monday and I will go home on Tuesday.

@DaddyEvil I was awakened around 2 am by the Huskey to go out and potty. Thankfully, she was quick about it all. At first I thought she was going to change her mind. I opened the door and she just stared like thinking, "Oh crap, it is raining out there!"
