A garden fit for the birds

We spent two nights at my brother-in-law’s place and I took these photos in his garden. The recent rains have been lapped up by the plants and they are all thriving and blooming like you wouldn’t believe. He has a lot of native plants in his garden and the birds are there in their dozens.
We celebrated our niece’s birthday on Wednesday evening then went to an Eric Bogle concert on Thursday so I’m heading off for a nap once I post this. I’ll write more about the concert another time.
We’re supposed to be heading off in the motor-home on Sunday so it’s a busy time for us at the moment as I’m also trying to sort out an injection I need.

Those are lovely photos and I'm sure the plants are even nicer in real life.
I hope everything goes well with your shot and the upcoming trip is relaxing and enjoyable.

@JudyEv Fruit trees and birdbaths attract birds but I think flowers will attract butterflies.

@allknowing There were certainly plenty of bees feasting on the flowers.

@JudyEv That is great that you received the injection, now for the weather to straighten out in your area so that you can get away tomorrow and have a great time.
The outdoor wedding is later on today.
Yesterday we had high winds (70-90 km) warning, I hope that they subside and do not return.

@JudyEv You're welcome. I just had a bone density test; and I just have osteopenia. I just need to continue taking my calcium supplemented with calcium-rich foods and taking my D3.
