Monday: Do you hate them or love them?

I'm going to confess that I'm a Monday lover. For me, a Monday is like a Saturday in the sense that it's the most anticipated day for me.It gives me a feeling that I can start everything over again as a new opportunity.I don't know if it's just me, there are some people who hate Mondays like Garfield the Cat.And everything is relative. There are people who do poorly at work and this reminds them that they have to go back to the place where they feel enslaved. What experience can you tell me about Mondays and what it means to you?

Since I am retired now, Monday is just another day of the week for me. I used to not like going back to work on Mondays though when I worked.

Well, imagine yourself lying in one of those dream rooms on the cover. I don't think I would go out either.

Unless I NEED to know what day of the week it is, every day is the same to me. I'm retired and my daughter is my carer. Sometimes she'll want me to do something and I'll have to look at my phone to see what day it is. (She wanted me to call my doctor and ask for a larger dose of one of my medications... I looked at my phone and told her it was Sunday so my doctor wouldn't be in the office.)

@YuleimaVzla My daughter and I don't remember birthdays unless I set an alarm on my phone to remind me. We don't do anything for holidays so no reason to remember them.

The same thing is happening to me, regardless of whether I'm on vacation or not, I like Mondays, I've always liked them, but I don't know why lately they take me by surprise.Christmas days arrive and one day before Christmas Eve I don't even remember that it's Christmas Eve my birthday arrived and I didn't remember either I don't know I'm giving everything equally

Just another day for me basically. I take my sons to school and sports then I work on my business, but other than that each day for me can bring mood swings or just blah depending on my Chronic Migraine pain level and having these perimenapausal sympthoms now lol.

Well, I'm experiencing premenopausal symptoms, such as when my period is about to come, my head hurts, which didn't happen before, and my mood changes, sometimes I don't even want to. talk

I used to dislike Mondays. Ever since I retired, it's just another day to me. Like all days now, throughout the week.

I don't know if it's me or I read that most of the members are in a constant struggle so that each day is not the same as another.

@YuleimaVzla I will agree there are a lot of members here struggling. Not sure why that is or why this site attracts so many, but it does. lol

I like your perspective on Mondays! Most people see them as gloomy, but you’re right, they can also be a fresh start, almost like a mini New Year every week. For me, Mondays are a bit of a mixed bag. Sometimes they feel heavy if I haven’t rested enough over the weekend, but other times I really enjoy the sense of starting with a clean slate. I guess it depends on the week ahead. I’ve always thought it’s interesting how the same day can mean excitement for one person and dread for another.

Well, Monday's kind of "just another day" at the moment. My job is as a substitute, which doesn't always happen on a Monday.

But don't you have any rituals, something you do, let's say, for Monday? For example, here in Venezuela, it's customary to eat black beans on Mondays.Regardless of social status or condition, it is a custom

I not a fan of Mondays. Reminds me of having to go to school when I was a kid after enjoying a Saturday and Sunday of doing whatever fun thing I wanted to do. You don't have that option with school or work.
