A woman who resides in Petersham Massachusetts shared a videotape of a bear that managed to steal sunflower seeds from under the cover of the bed of her pickup truck to steal sunflower seeds. The bear stole the package of sunflower seeds to use his or her paws to open the sunflower seeds since the bear was hungry for a snack before the bear walked away. The woman who owns the pickup truck that the bear said that it was 40 years that a bear attacked an auto that she owned in her lifetime. Officials with the Massachusetts Division of Fisheries are telling people not to display food on their autos since bears will see food and eat it. Link is upi.com/978175500940 via @upi

Bears sure are opportunists. They can find any and all food that humans have.

Yipes. Glad no one was out there when the bear was "foraging".

That is what I was thinking about the bear wanting a snack.

It seems it's hard to keep bears out of places where they want to go.

That is true since bears like to eat food when they see food.

With such a great sense of smell, even hidden food can be smelt out by a bear. Food should not be left in a car, or a truck then, where bears might smell it and try to get it then.

That is what the authorities are telling people not to have food in the open where bears are around.

He/She was bear-sistent on grabbing a meal! I have noticed an increase in bears entering people's homes to find food. I believe you have posted some examples before. They certainly are finding another source for finding food. Scary!

Bears are becoming the real life version of the cartoon character Yogi Bear.
