I’ve nearly run out of Baileys Irish Cream …….Yikes ! / myLot

Baileys Irish Cream is one of my favourites. You can drink it in its own or have it in coffee ….thats my favourite way. In the run up to Christmas all the stores try and out do each other by having the cheapest prices. I certainly take advantage of that and I stock up when it is at its cheapest, We have one bottle in the house and the others are kept in a cupboard in the garage. Usually when I need a new one I will ask The Mister and he will fetch one for me. I asked him a few weeks ago how many bottles we had left …..it’s September now and the stores will be starting the price war soon …..and he said we had ‘ several ‘ bottles left. I went at the weekend to get the LAST bottle !!! What did he mean ‘ several ‘ when there was clearly just ‘ ONE ‘ !!! I love him dearly ….but …..GGGRRRR !!! How will I cope ? Will I cope ? Watch this space !!! What is the one thing that you hate to run out of ?

If you have to add something to coffee to make it taste good enough to drink, why make coffee?

Maybe that isn't the only place he stashes the liquor?

I do like coffee without Baileys too …. It’s just a bit of a guilty pleasure ( without the guilt part ) I rechecked and it was the last bottle …..he acknowledged that ….

Good thing you double checked on your supply of Baileys. I can't help but laugh that your husband said "several" were on stock. Hope you find some good prices when you are ready to restock your Baileys. I do like Baileys

Water. The water in my apartment tastes like metal (despite having the water tested and it passing), so everyone in this apartment complex buys their water. I hate running out of it.

We have bottled water as ours isn’t good to drink …we don’t think so anyway.

Oh no, that must have been such a shock when you found only one bottle left! Especially with Baileys being your favourite and the best prices still a little while away. I think many of us can relate to that frustration when “several” actually means “just one.” Hopefully you’ll be able to stock up again soon once the Christmas offers start. For me, the one thing I really hate running out of is coffee. It’s the first thing I reach for in the morning, so if the jar is empty, my whole day feels off.
