Kitty slept with me for most of last night.

Kitty often jumps in bed with me late at night. She demands a purr fest, and then jumps back down when the fest is over. Last night, she spent most of the night with me. Her chosen spot is near my head. Achoo. I think I'm allergic to cats. Do you have pets who sleep with you?

Uh oh! She might be buttering you up for better canned food or more money... You know how women are. It's annoying to start having allergic reactions to furbabies... I was always around dogs, cats and horses until I couldn't be around them anymore.

@Kusumakrishna True... I'm glad that isn't really how most women are, though. And Kitty is beautiful so should get away with asking for more.

My dog does. My past dogs have too. My dog, Annabelle, would sleep on my pillow by my head. She had a lot of tendencies a cat does (including making biscuits). I’ve gotten so used to it it seems weird to sleep someplace without a dog curled up by my side.

@TheHorse You know, when cats look like they’re kneading bread. That’s just what I’ve heard cat lovers call it.

I think Kitty wants to sleep ON me. She has asked. But she has not yet accepted my offer.

Not at night Nico will come in in the morning though after he has his breakfast. He will only sleep on the bed when it is cool in the room.

That sounds sweet, even if it comes with a few sneezes. Cats really do have their favourite spots, and once they choose, that’s it. I don’t have a cat, but I know how comforting it can be to have a pet curled up nearby at night. Some people love it and others prefer their space, but either way pets seem to have their own ideas about where they should sleep.

My late dog used to sleep with me whenever I am sleeping on the floor. But usually for awhile. After that, he will feel that it is too warm and he will go to the other side of the room.

I am glad too. When we're just chilling, life is good. She has tried out some new silly sleeping positions recently.

We were never allowed to have our cats sleep near our faces. We always had to push them off to our feet. We weren't to let dogs lick our faces either. I still don't like that for myself.

Our dogs were never allowed on the furniture. They were pretty big to sleep with us anyway. When the Pomeranians came around, Ice claimed a recliner as his own; and we didn't have the heart to say "no". Suckers!

My neighbour's cat strolls in my house most of the time, she prefers a cozy spot around the bed
