Do you use anything in your dryer?

I know alot of people add vinegar or other additives into the washer, but what about in your dryer? I have dryer sheets I will throw in every once in a while, and also sometimes dryer balls which I really do think causes the laundry to get dryer faster What about you anything you add?

I don’t have a dryer, so all I use is a ceiling fan.

@snowy22315 — cheaply! (Guess I should emphasize that the clothes are on a rack under the ceiling fan, not ON it. )

If I use anything, it's the dryer balls. I like them.

They seem to do a pretty good job, I have the plastic ones though...they can be clunky.

@snowy22315 Mine are made of a wool fabric, my son in law bought some for their dryer, and got me some, too. I am allergic to some softeners. I don’t dry everything in the dryer. I have a cool folding laundry rack that I use to air dry a lot of things.

I don't always use them, but I have two boxes so when I think of it, I throw them in.

I use dryer sheets with my clothes and will add them in with towels and washcloths, too.

They are especially good for static cling. I don't really have that though..

@snowy22315 True... I wear shirts that could have static cling except my fish tank keeps lots of moisture in the air in the house. Once in a while, when Pretty and I go shopping, I'll be pushing our cart and she touches it and gets shocked.

Nobody in this area hangs their wash out..maybe some bathing suits or towels, but alot ofbackyards aren't visible here there could be a line in the back and I wouldn't see it.

I have dryer sheets but mostly forget to put them in. I use the dryer very rarely as mostly things dry on the line.

We used to do the dryer balls. Not sure why we stopped. Now we use dryer sheets.

The balls are supposed to shorten the time it takes the clothes to get clean, thus hopefully using less electric, but I am sure you knew that.
