Cousin #2 stayed extra and cleared out a path for the junk men to come and take the treadmill away. That will clear up a lot of space in the computer room. They are also taking a recliner that my husband insisted that we keep because he was going to get it repaired (lol), a pole lamp and a broken wheelchair.
Cousin #3 called. She's still sick; and now the boys are getting sick. She will come over when she's feeling better.
My Kidney Disease book came. I learned quite a few things. I need to cut down on my calcium (that also causes the kidney stones that I have), cut down on salt, cut down on protein and follow of Mediterranean diet. There were some other things that I can't remember right now. Kidney disease patients have a high risk of diabetes and heart disease. Oh joy. Also I will need to lose weight. I'm supposed to exercise. That will be difficult.
We are having that picture posting problem again.
Breakfast - Protein bar
Lunch - Meals on Wheels - Stuffed cabbage, noodles, mixed veggies, pears and grape juice
Dessert/Snack - Banana walnut muffin
Dinner - Turkey/Muenster sandwich, BBQ chips (yes I know)
What did you eat yesterday?

@LindaOHio - A personalized professional advice is so much better than a book.

I ate a sausage, egg and cheese croissant for breakfast, had a banana, a peach and a beef and bean burrito with salsa for lunch and ate a bun-less hamburger with ketchup and diced onions for supper.
Pretty and I went to get Covid shots yesterday and found out we'd need our doctor to write a prescription for those before we could get them. I'll call the doctor's office in the morning and ask for them to send the prescription to the local Walmart pharmacy. Pretty did get her flu shot yesterday. (She's running a fever and complaining about a sore shoulder tonight. I don't think the pharmacy will let her get the Covid shot until she's not running a fever from the flu shot but I can get mine.)
I've got an appointment at the hospital for an ultrasound on my thyroid tomorrow afternoon. I have an appointment with the new Endocrinologist set up for the end of November but my regular doctor is worried because I didn't see the old Endocrinologist last January for the ultrasound I was scheduled to have. (Our car wasn't running at the time.)

@LindaOHio Pretty didn't need a prescription for any other shot but since there's an idiot in charge of some shots now, we have to have prescriptions for Covid shots.

Interesting. I don't need a prescription to get a flu shot, RSV shot, COVID, etc. I just go to the pharmacy or to my PCP.

Same here on my end. Can't post pictures. Oh well. Glad to hear you were able to get some junk cleared out, and best of luck to you dealing with this kidney issue. Onward and upward, right? It's all we can do is deal with what's thrown at us.
For dinner I made some Bremer Salisbury steaks with buttered cut green beans and a red sauce pasta on the side. It was very good.

I’m glad the #2 cousin came to help you, and very glad you finally heard from cousin #3. I hope her family gets better soon.
Yes, major changes are in store for you. I know you don’t want the kidney issue to advance and if you can follow the suggested diet it will really help you. Stock up of fresh things to eat, that will help a lot. I’m very glad you have the book. I know it won’t be easy, but diets aren’t easy. Just try to jump in and really get into it, we sure don’t want you to get worse, Linda.

The greatest fear I have is dialysis. I don't want it to get that far.

She is so helpful, wonderful that she has cleared the path so that the items can be removed from your home. I hope that this happens before the bad weather settles in.
When you have your next doctor's appointment, I hope that you can have a discussion on the changes you are implementing and see if he has any insight to offer.
Yesterday was a L O N G day at work, I was tired afterwards.
Supper was frozen tater tots and breaded shrimp.
I went to bed really early and now I feel more like myself again.
