It is always fun to go and see what sort of things they have available. I guess the thing I was most excited about was double trays of RAO's veggie lasagna for 6.99. I have really wanted to try the RAO's brand, but you can literally pay that much for a jar of their organic sauce, so the lasagna seemed very reasonable. It will be warm tomorrow, but hopefully cooler by supper time. They had a few things that struck my fancy there, and some great buys..overall, they aren't really quite as good as they used to be though, and had no coffee other than K cups, plus cat food. They did have a large bag of Reeses peanut butter cups with peanuts in them for 2.49. Chobani yogurt 4 packs for 1.29...etc. etc. One must pick and choose in there.

We found you had to pick and choose in the new King's Food Saver here. Some things were really cheap but it is their Grand Opening... Pretty kept checking their prices against Walmart here in town. We didn't do bad overall.
I'm glad you found some good prices, too.

You have to watch those budget stores though. Sometimes they try to make up for their cheap prices on some items by inflating prices on others. Like for instance their milk and bread at this place is over priced. I got some on sale there that was about the price of milk here, but that was an exception.

@snowy22315 Everything we looked at, Pretty checked the price in the local Walmart on her phone and told me yes, get it or no, we can get that cheaper in Walmart.

It's good for you. You got a great buy there and prices are reasonable. Unlike us wherever you go in the public market or in the mall for there's no budget store here, high prices of basic commodities as well as groceries are killing you. It's terrible really.

Maybe they don't sell it as much out there. Do you ever eat Dave's Killer bread?

@sallypup I got some for 2 bucks at a bakery thrift store near Sharp Shopper! I have wanted to try it for years, but I paused at the price tag. Now, I can find out what it is all about. It probably is not better than the bread made in Wegmans though. They have a helluva bakery in store..tastes fantastic.

@snowy22315 I have eaten Dave's Killer bread. It really isn't worth the 5 to 6 dollar hype.

Exactly you need to know prices to shop in a place like that to take full benefit.

That sounds like a little jaunt I would enjoy, too. The Rao’ sauce here is very pricey, I don’t buy it. But you got a bargain on the lasagna!
As I am anxiously awaiting for the colorful fall leaves, I have to ask, are the leaves turning there. We have a few but not yet.
