Do you ever make salads? What are your favorite dressings? On warmer days, I sometimes make salads for lunch or dinner..Often, no lettuce is involved. The other day I made one of my salads for lunch. I took a picture of it before I added the Marie's Blue Cheese Dressing. It was good.. Let me see if I can remember the ingredients, before I go and try and find the photo. Fresh avocado. canned beets, canned olives, Roma tomatoes frommy balcony garden. I often add hearts of palm and canned tuna, but I didn't time. Do you like salads? What do you put in there? Do you have a favorite dressing?

Wow! It looks delicious! I love macaroni salad and fruit salad, but the "fruits" here are not fresh, it is all in can. Lol!

@TheHorse We have, but the fruit salad that we have here is the "fruit in can" its already a customary, but the rich people eat fresh fruit salad in the morning, hehehehe... while the average people just buy fruit salad by delmonte, lol! And we only make fruitsalad during birthday parties, christmas and new year.

Yes, I make salads almost every day, the dressing depends on which salad I make. For avocado I only mix some olive oil with lemon juice and salt and mix well. That dressing is really good also for tomatoes. Blue cheese dressing is great with celery, Romain lettuce, white endives. White mayo dressing with raw carrots.

@TheHorse It is, my husband is so picky about dressing, for red lettuces is olive oil and lemon, for others is white vinegar and olive oil, for a few red vinegar and olive oil.

Olive oil and lemon juice is a nice combination.

I had an orange vinaigrette once that I absolutely loved! Yesterday, I had a strawberry caprese salad with a nice vinaigrette, and I’d gladly have that again.

I enjoy it when I encounter a "new" salad dressing that appeals to me.

Sounds interesting. I like some cut up Roma tomatoes and avocado tossed in some homemade Italian dressing. I don't eat salads anymore.

I will eat fresh fruits and veggies with my meals but have never called them a salad. And I rarely dip them in salad dressing. (I use Bleu Cheese salad dressing in place of mayo on sandwiches all the time.) I'm glad you enjoyed it.

I make salads almost daily. Tonight's salad was shredded cabbage, carrots, shallots, flax seed, sprinkle of cheese, chopped up chicken, and a tiny bit of adobo pepper sauce (blended peppers with some Greek Yogurt.) I don't use much dressing anymore. Usually do stewed tomatoes or if what I top is flavorful, nothing.

I love salads but Vince isn't so keen so I don't often have them. I love beetroot in a salad.

I LOVE salads. I had a Cobb salad from Walmart last night. I like ranch or just about any dressing other than blue cheese. No beets on mine either!
