An Austrian roundabout advertising a glass company

The image shows a roundabout in Austria. The sign near the ‘ball’ says LiSEC which is a company which develops and produces glass cutting and sorting systems. They also produce insulating and laminated glass.
The company was founded in 1961 and there is one production plant in Austria, and it’s represented at 25 locations worldwide. There is one company in Australia which provides LiSEC machines as well as software solutions and services.
I thought the centrepiece might be their logo but I can’t verify that. The photo was taken by me from the passenger seat in our British vehicle. Most of my roundabout photos have that blue arrow showing which way the traffic should go. Driving on the ‘wrong’ side of the road as we were, we found the arrows quite helpful.

We have Round-A-Bouts here now, and it is so aggravating that no one seems to know what to do. I get horns blowed at me and I am doing what it says...but I guess they think I should just sit there and wait for them to go around, even though I have all the time in the world to just GO! And if you stop you have horns blowing behind you. I hate those things..of course 4 way stops are just as bad...seems like a lot of people don't know how they work either. Driving got worse when they dropped Driver's Education from the schools.

@Ghostlady When I am at the point where there is a yield sign and semis are heading around, you bet I stop and yield. I prefer horns to being squished.

@JudyEv I think it is obvious, and it is a good habit.

Arrows like that would be helpful for anyone using the roundabout. I always avoid roundabouts if I know about them in advance. They aren't intuitive and only serve to confuse me.
That is a nice picture.

This is nice round-a-bout. We have them here but some are just plain with nothing in the center. Some, they will add grass and plants. People don't drive them the way they are supposed to. It's a lot of, "I'm going even if not my turn" stuff.

That's a good picture. I don't think I would care for roundabouts. Did you see the scene from National Lampoon's European Vacation in which Chevy Chase (Clark Griswold) is stuck in a roundabout with his family?

@LindaOHio That would make for a funny situation for sure.

@JudyEv It goes from daylight to night; and he's still in the roundabout, pointing out the same landmarks each time he goes around.

Neat, other than some plants and flowers haven't really seen any really cool roundabouts.

I think they are also called traffic islands that are mostly covered with greenery here.

@JudyEv I almost got a landscape designing order. We had rules in that no high plants to be planted

We appreciated the arrows there as we were driving on the 'wrong' side to what we were used to.
