Ordered a TV stand, now need a TV and TV services / myLot

I ordered a TV stand from Wayfair. It’s supposed to arrive today. It has to be assembled. I wanted to get installation for it—this costs in the $80 range—but my mom’s friend said not to do it; he’d help put it together. I thought they’d bring the box into the house but delivery email says they will leave it outside. Dragging it into the house is not something I wanted to do. Even not assembled the box is probably very heavy. I won’t be able to bring it inside myself. Once it gets here and we assemble it I will have to look for a TV as hubby took his when he moved out. And then since hubby also cancelled Verizon FIOS I will have to get myself Internet and figure out what to get for TV services—either cable, FIOS, or streaming. It’s hard to make a decision on that.

I hope you can get the box inside and everything set up the way you want. The box for my storage cabinet was so heavy that cousin #3's husband had to come over and bring it inside.

I saw the fedex van through the window so I went outside and asked the guy if he can bring it inside. The box was already leaning against the railing outside when I came out. He took it and partially put the box on the floor and then just pushed it all the way in. He didn’t actually set foot into the house.

I hope you can put everhting together. I stopped watching regular TV a long time ago, Do you mean it no longer is a box you buy, plug in,m and turn on? In Latvia came the time you needed a decoder to watch TV so we gave up on it because it just never seemed to work right,

Not sure what you mean by “no longer is a box you buy…”? Are you referring to tv services?

Maybe you can ask the delivery guy to help you put the box inside. Or they will not knock whatsoever and leave it in front of your house? I hope not. Everytime I have a big delivery I will always ask the delivery man to help me put it inside our house, because no one can carry it, my dad is too old.

He left it leaning against the porch railing. If I hadn’t heard a truck outside and came out that’s where it would’ve been. But I heard the truck and I called the guy before he left and I asked him to bring it in. He managed to do it and without setting foot into the house.
