One of these things is not like the others

Remember that bit on Sesame Street? Well that's what I was reminded of today. The fundraiser mums I ordered were delivered so I brought my basil plants and flowers inside and put the mums in place. I usually have the memorial lantern for my dad right next to the door but I had to put it in front of them so it could be seen. Okay so I have mums and the lantern. (a welcome sign and memorial wind chimes too) Right across the landing from me they have 2 painted pumpkins and a fall wreath on the door. (fall welcome sign and door mat too) And then we have an ashtray full of cigarette butts and a plastic Santa. (broom, dustpan, metal folding chair, fly swatter, and lots of ash too) I sent the pictures to my sister with the phrase and she cracked up. I didn't take a picture of the 4th apartment up here because they have a Ring camera so I didn't want them to see me take one. They already think I complained about the bags of garbage they leave on the landing for days when I honestly did not. They have a fall sign wreath on their door. This picture (if it works) is of my doorway. We aren't supposed to have stuff on the landing but most people in this building try to make their area look nice. Maintenance doesn't care and management doesn't either as long as no one complains.
