Why would anyone park in two spaces. There is no reason to park like that to begin with.
When we went to Winco today there was two cars that did that. Not just one but two. Why would you park in two spaces to begin with.
These were not big over size cars either. They were medium size cars that would fit into one space without any trouble.
When we park our car we look to make sure we went up far enough and we are not over the line on both sides.
Have you seen this happen where you live?

I don't drive, but riding with other people I've seen it.

Either the guilty parties can't aim their cars properly, or they're afraid someone else might damage their precious vehicle by parking too close.

Some people park like that to protect their cars. They should leave them at home.

Some people do that because they do not want their car to get bumped, but why? It is just a car, no need to be piggy about parking spaces.

It is just a car and it will get scratched at some point.

Was the parking lot crowded? If it wasn't they might have thought it didn't matter or maybe they were just running in quick for something. If it was crowded..bad move for sure.

Yes I've seen that and it really annoys me. What annoys me too is when someone parks so close to your car that you can barely open the door to get in.

There is one supermarket car park where this happens all the time. I don’t know if it was bad driving or just the driver not caring !

@jstory07 This all too common practice curdles my milk. Some to it so that others can’t park too close to them, while others have the attitude that there are plenty of other spaces so it doesn’t matter and others just live their lives in a slobbish manner anyway and don’t care. There should be brutal fines for such irksome behaviour. And it makes the place look untidy.

I always think about the neighbors and I don't want them to be angry with me. I always take the time to park in only one space, and leave space for the other people to get in and out of their cars.
