I have a flower!

OK, this photo will not win any awards, but it's the best I could do the other day. One of my succulents is throwing a pretty pink flower.What the photo does not show is that the flower's stem is about 12 inches long. I have no idea what this succulent is called. I also have four (count 'em, four!) Roma tomatoes red and ready for harvest. I even bought some canned Mandarin oranges today so I can make a glorious salad. I still have to buy some seeds so I can grow some snow peas this Winter. Do you have a "balcony garden"? Or perhaps a real garden? How does your garden grow? Heh. Do you like my Avatar? Poor Dora!

The flower is such a pretty colour. We have some more of our tomatoes ripening in the garden since we have been away. I’m looking forward to picking those next week. I did start thinking about what to grow next year but I haven’t decided yet.

An old little poem came to my mind: "Mary, Mary, quite contrary, how does your garden grow? .... This flower is really pretty. I have no plants and flowers for the moment. Next year I will buy pots and dirt and plant something.

Pretty flower .my garden was a bust as usual I got like two cherry tomatoes .whoopty do! The flowers faired a bit better

How lovely. I don't have a balcony garden but do have a front step. I used to come out of the apartment about 7a. to get to work. I would say hello and good morning to the morning glory that grew in the planter there. She was lovely. Sort of a periwinkle blue color.

It is temperate here Hard freezes are rare. So I can enjoy my succulents and snow peas in Winter.
