Thursday Coffee Talk

Happy Thursday Everyone! it's a sunny day here today and a little cooler than it has been the last few days. However, we're supposed to get warmer again by the weekend. No complaints from me. I'm really enjoying the weather especially since it's not hot and humid.
Yesterday I had a doctor appointment and then had to go for bloodwork. I was hoping I could skip the bloodwork until my next appointment but he wants to see where my numbers are.
So after I had the bloodwork done, my daughter and I went out for breakfast. It's been a long time since I've actually gone out for breakfast and it was nice to sit and be waited on. My daughter took the day off from work so we had a nice day together.
Even though we live together, she works a full time job and spends most of her day upstairs in her office. I'm downstairs doing my thing and our time together is at dinner and whatever we watch on tv until she heads up to bed.
After our busy day yesterday I slept really well last night and have things I want to get done today. The bathroom is on my list (not fun) and I also have a few skeins of yarn I want to list for sale. Of course I want to spend time here and chat for awhile.
Haven't decided on dinner yet so I guess I'll be taking something out of the freezer to defrost.
This week seems to be flying by.

I'm glad I fasted too. It certainly would have been annoying if I had to go out another day to get it done.
We had a nice mother daughter day and were laughing because it was my older daughters birthday and we were kind of celebrating without her

It does seem to be a fast week. That's the best thing about going for blood work, the going out for breakfast afterwards.

It's sunny here too today. I had them come to my home this year to do my blood work. The tech was a nice youngman and we had a nice chat.
Nice that your daughter was able to take a day off from her work. I'm usually up in my room and my daughter is downstairs cooking or doing some crafts.
I think we are having chicken for dinner tonight.

I love times like that, when we can have some quality time with our children. How neat that she took the day off, too.
Bathrooms are on my list, too. I have 2 short errands to run as well. I am trying hard to keep my stress levels down and do what I can manage for now, I was way overly stressed all last week--long story, but it helps when I can tone it down some and just go slower at times.
