A Quick Hello On This Sunny Saturday

Happy Saturday Everyone! it's a sunny day but just a little too chilly to enjoy my coffee outside this morning. My daughter just left for her appointment with the eye doctor so I figured it would be a good time to pop on and say hi. I put some music on Alexa and the pup is sleeping. Nothing much planned for today and maybe I'll get around to rearranging some of the stuff in the garage and can make more room on the shelves. The garage has become the place where things go and over time it's just a big cluttered mess. A typical conversation goes like this..."what do you want to do with this?" reply..."I don't know, put it in the garage" I'm the guilty one since at least half is my yarn storage. Do I have too much? You would look at it and say absolutely and I always think probably not I promised myself that I would sort through it all and sell some of it. It's just hard to pick and choose what to keep and what to sell as I always have a project in mind when I look through it all. Meanwhile, since it's in the garage the old adage of Out of Sight, Out of Mind pretty much is why it doesn't get done Tonight we're having a simple dinner of ham steaks, baked beans and mac & cheese. First time in a long time I won't be using either the crockpot or the air fryer How's your Saturday shaping up?

Happy Saturday! Garages and basements become the historical archives of the things we don't want to make an immediate decision about. Your dinner sounds fantastic. My Saturday has been pretty relaxed so far, mostly dedicated to chores.

I think everyone needs a room for all the 'stuff' that doesn't have a home elsewhere.

In my case it is mostly paper that gets cluttered.

Many garages have that problem. I know ours does

My day was great because I got my monthly groceries, You know you would think that Walmart would check to see if employees know some English. The delivery guy spoke only Spanish. When he arrived I showed him where he could drive up to my stairs to make it easier to get the groceries upstairs. He just said thank you to me and carried the groceries across the lawn from the driveway but at least they were delivered,

Any flat surface is game in my house for clutter. It's really bad. It's even worse now that we're packing up my husband's things. Just trying to catch up here. Will be eating dinner soon.

Your dinner is going to be very tasty! My best friend came over last night, and we talked a lot. So I’m doing the mopping today that I was supposed to do last night, but I don’t mind. It was so nice to see her. I was hoping to see my dad today, but he’s going to the wedding of his wife’s granddaughter. I don’t know her at all (she lives 2 hours away) so I don’t feel sad I wasn’t invited. I know my stepmom is looking forward to it. It is so nice outside I might take Sadie on a longer walk today. I haven’t felt this “good” in at least a month.

Well, since I am "grounded" here .car is driveable but best not as it could get me a summons if I happened to run into a cop..It will be cooking and cleaning again with a scary movie or two thrown into the mix. Also re reading Salem's Lot

I think it's nice to not have a plan, especially on the weekend.

Saturday is ending, we went out shopping and the day was cloudy and humid, but very warm. I prepared a goulash this morning so I have a quick dinner to serve this evening.

Happy Saturday! I'm on my way out the door to tailgate for a little while before the Florida/Texas college football game. Then, later, I will be going to a wedding. Hope you enjoy your day!
