First Day on MyLot — Kind of Feels Different (in a good way)

Hey everyone! I just joined MyLot today and honestly, it feels kind of nice to see a place where people still talk instead of just scroll past each other. I miss that about the early internet — when random strangers could actually have real conversations.
I’m still figuring out how this whole thing works… any tips for a newbie? ??

Hi! I’m the music geek, so that’s what I tend to annoy everyone with. 
As others said, be yourself, visit around, and have a good time. Pay particular attention to the emojis, as they’ll usually let you know what tone the discussion is. Mine usually have a lot of laughs…or I think they’re funny.

The #1 tip you need to know is - You need a valid PayPal account to receive money from myLot. It may not be registered in Nigeria, PayPal does not allow us to send money to Nigerian PayPal addresses.

Just be yourself. You get paid for replies, meaning when people reply to your comments, discussions and comments. So, just keep the conversation moving. A lot of newbies flood the place with discussions. Don't do that. It's not a race. Other than that, be yourself and comment on what you're interested in.

@Dammy4life Not a problem. There's a FAQ page I'd suggest you'd look over, although that hasn't been updated in years. So, I often don't say anything to newbies about it.

We are a friendly bunch on here ….
As for tips …….come on every day if you can , to let people get to know you, then they will look for your posts.
Posts whenever you can, check out other peoples posts and leave a comment ……they will return the favour.
You won’t earn a lot on here ….its more about the friendly, community feel.

I guess the best tip I can offer is that interactions are more important than posts. DO post, but don't forget to visit other people's posts, and write a reply or a comment that develops into a full blown conversation. Most of all, just have fun, and welcome aboard.

@Dammy4life I like food and the more eat what is in front of me the more stuff is happening around my middle section. But I'm not sure I like that part.
