For over the period of fourteen days, Philippines had 7 earthquakes.
The last one this afternoon at a magnitude of 5. This one is kaso the nearest to the capital where I am. We live at the south of the metro and some people in the north metro said they felt the shake.
I hope and pray this will be the last. It has been a daily earthquake news since Thursday, one after another.
Please saya a little prayer for us.

Yeah the quake has been getting closer to where we are. I am also hoping it wouldn’t hit us any time soon. Although the Philippine volcanology agency’s been warning us that the fault line directly crossing us is long overdue to a major quake. It is a matter of time that any trigger could make it shake and affect us. With Taal volcano in the south erupting every now and then it might just awaken this fault.

@rakski It seems like, fortunately, none of the earthquakes occurring around our islands are activating the fault line running through us. However, anything could potentially trigger this fault line, which has no recorded activity in the past centuries. With no historical evidence of it being triggered, it remains dangerously unpredictable, making it hard to forecast just how destructive it could be if it were to activate.

I'm so sorry. Seven earthquakes in 2 weeks time is a lot! Please do everything you can to stay safe!
