I just stumbled on this short (about 30 second) video. It's kind of cute/funny. Have you been to Portland Oregon? I have friends who live up there. Plus I have rafted some rivers South of Portland. I passed through Portland a couple of months ago, on my way home from Montana.The blackberries up there are awesome. And the people are really nice. This short video is cute, because it compares what Portland is really like with what some would like out-of-staters to believe it is like. The old-timers playing ukes and singing an old Woodie Guthrie song sealed it for me. I hope you enjoy.

@TheHorse It's pretty much same old here. We're going to the No Kings protest this coming Saturday, the 18th even though this is a red pocket. The protest is being held about a mile from us so for sure got to go.

Trump and his crew are so demented. I hope they don't last long. I remember Portland had raspberries growing crazy near the highway and in some meridians. I was in heaven. Just happened to make it through at the right time of the year. (September as I recall)

Yes, we have been in Portland, Oregon. We have been there only for a short time, it looked like a quiet city.

I love Portland. My sister lived there for some time, and I spent time with her whenever I could manage it. Portland just has a certain sort of aura, a feel to it, it's a happy place with friendly people--at least, that was my impression.
