So, have you been watching any scary movies this spooky season?

I try to watch one every day if I can. Right now I am watching the Other it is about a couple who decided to foster a non verbal foster daughter who was the lone survivor in a family attack. What could go wrong this picture? Well plenty...including a spooky, supernaturally based child next door. It's a strange one. If you watch them .any must sees?

I haven’t watched any scary movies and I doubt that I will. To be honest, they give me bad dreams, and real life is about all I can do right now. I know some people love them, but some of them are just too scary.

I watched a pretty scary one today before the Other. It was called Drive Back..might not have wanted to watch that at night.

@snowy22315 I just can't. I am not a ''scaredy cat'' but some of those movies are just horrible. They really do give me nightmares.

Thomas Tryon wrote a super intense horror novel called The Other. Atmospheric.....

I read that back in the day. I think they made a movie of that too...didn't they? Another good one is The Others with Nicole Kidman. I wanted to watch that, but oddly it didn't see to be available. I remember that book Tomas Tyron Niles and Holland, I think it was one good and one bad twin. I might read that again down the road.

That is more of a cute movie than legitimately scary. Alot of people love it though.

Most of my must-sees are in the daily posts that I've been making. I watched Creepshow last night. It was mostly campy and funny.

I don't like horror movies that pretend to be funny. I think they are just stupid..except Scary movie..that one is fun.

That sounds like a properly creepy setup! A non-verbal foster child and a supernatural neighbor? That's a recipe for some serious chills. For must-sees, if you like psychological dread, The Babadook is a classic. If you prefer something more visceral, Hereditary will definitely stick with you. Thanks for the recommendation on The Other—I'll have to check it out!

My mother and I watched The Color Rose on Amazon Prime. It was really good. My mother though slept through some of it.

@snowy22315 It's about seven girls who live in a Christian town and they label themselves seven deadly sins. Then someone kills one by one.

I like that scared creeped out feeling, but I do not like ones that have excessive blood and gore..slasher flicks in general are not for me..other than a few classics.

No. But I would like to. I'm a big fan of horror, but my wife is not as much, and so we hardly watch them. Maybe I will get a couple in when she goes away for the weekend, and I have some bachelor time to enjoy.

I tend to rewatch the campy ones from years past. Like Disturbing Behavior with Katie Holmes, or The Faculty with Josh Hartnett and Jordana Brewster. So far, on my list to watch is The Black Phone, It, The Conjuring, and Halloween Ends.
