Hello everyone. I hope your day is off to a good start. It is 56 degrees F and dark here at the Jersey Shore. The high for today is 61. The whipping wind seems to have stopped. We still might get more rain though.
I went to bed early last night so I woke up before the alarm this morning. It is back to work this morning. Ugh. I have a baking club meeting after school. I'm still waiting to hear from a mother to see if I have tutoring today. Basically this afternoon I won't be on my usual schedule.

Today I have to get another train ticket. I am coming up there (Mountainside, NJ) in November. I thought my boyfriend was going to bring me back home (NC) for Thanksgiving, but he thought I was going to stay up there. So I decided on Dec. 2 to come back home (NC). I already have a train ticket to go up there.

I’m glad the storm is basically over. We’ve still not had any rain, not for weeks now. Maybe this weekend.
Son is having surgery today. We are waiting for him to get wheeled there. He’s so tired he’s asleep without anesthesia but of course he’s just dozing. He didn’t sleep last night but about an hour, and that’s about how much I got, too. My daughter is here, that cheered him up. She is dozing in the chair next to me. We are sure a lively bunch this morning!
