It's That Day

It's my daughter's birthday today. She had it all planned months in advance. She was stopping smoking again today. She has tried several times in the past and is trying once again. So far today she hasn't had one cigarette. She got rid of all her vape devices and products a long time ago which I was happy to see. I told her to keep putting time between her and wanting one and see how she does.
I am wishing her well. She has a different attitude this time around. She has been planning it for two or three months now. She doesn't like it anymore and has grown tired of it. I sure hope this new attitude helps her to finally quit. She has been smoking since she was 12 or 13. I have seen how hard it has gotten for her to climb the stairs and I think it will help her in some other areas too. Energy and back pain.
I am hopeful.

I just want to see my daughter feel better. I think quitting will help her in so many ways.

I hope she can. I heard of one person that took a walk every time he wanted one. Then built up to jogging. Ended up doing a marathon

I wish her all the best. I've never smoked but I'm sure it can be really difficult for some people to give up.
