A 2 year old should not be playing outside unsupervised.

Two years old? Makes me wonder where the parent or guardian was.

Kids are better at getting out of gates than parents apparently think.

It's always very worrying when a small child goes missing.

That was a good ending that the girl was found safe, and well, as it could easily have gone a whole lot worse.

I agree with the others. Even though the yard was fenced, a two-year-old is just too young to play without supervision (dogs do not count).

I am in agreement with you that a two year old child is too young to be playing outside of the home without adult supervision.
