Hello everyone. I hope your day is off to a good start. It is 60 degrees F and dark here at the Jersey Shore. The high is just 65 and we might get some rain later. Typical fall weather.
It is Monday so it is back to work.
The students have a test today so I will be busy dealing with grading those. That should make the day go by quickly. . . at least I hope so. I have 2 hours of tutoring this afternoon. It is forensic science. Ugh.
What's everyone else up to today?

It got down to 35 last night...but the sun is shining and now it's 60. Very, very windy though, which makes it seem a lot cooler than it is.
Today, I have hopes that I can stay home. Son has two meds that should auto-fill tomorrow, and he has enough until then...so I remain hopeful that today can be a stay at home day.

Good morning!
It is 45F in my part of Missouri this morning. My phone says the high today is supposed to reach 75F. We have a hazardous weather warning this morning with non-thunderstorm winds up to 45 mph. Winds are 19 mph right now.
We got text messages that say our new glasses are ready for pickup this morning. We also got haircuts on Thursday. Our long hair is gone but mine is still curling on my neck and over my ears. Pretty's hair is still below her shoulders. (She's not happy with her haircut. She asked for layers and the stylist didn't do that. The stylist simply cut her hair off just below her shoulders in a straight cut.
I had already gone out to the car because the fumes from nail polish was causing me some problems so I just gave my wallet to Pretty so she could pay for our haircuts when she was done. Pretty refused to give the stylist a tip when she paid for the haircuts.
)
I hope you have a wonderful day.

I am working on sharing news stories and completing surveys under a warm afternoon with the temperature at 79 degrees.

I think forensic science would be fascinating; but that's just me. Nothing planned for today. I have a mouse in the house. Fortunately Terminix is scheduled to come tomorrow.
