There is a new study out that shows there may be good reason behind which arm we get our vaccinations in. This could help the body's immune system react more quickly. Isn't that interesting? So, as in theater it seems to be location, location, location. Read the article at the URL below and let me know what you think. I thought it was interesting:

That’s fascinating. I’ve also read that some shots are best given in the rear end for quicker absorption (and that a suppository medication will also be absorbed more quickly). Nice to know our butts are good for something.

@fourwalls The French are quite in love with a suppositorial method of delivery for medication. I was offered a suppository for a chest infection in France but I declined. Everything seems to go up the butt in France.

That's interesting! We know that our cells have memories and this further validates that. I didn't know this. I have taken both shots for Covid vaccine in the same arm and same place. I didn't go for booster shots.

Pretty and I just got our Covid boosters for this year and she got the flu shot for this year at the same time. (I never get flu shots.)

@DaddyEvil Hmm...my second dose of Covid vaccine did not go very well. I had long lasting symptoms. Looking at my condition having an autoimmune disorder, my doctor advised not to go for booster shots.
Why you don't take flu shots? Do you get allergic reactions? I have never taken flu shots. It's not in practice here in India. Even when I stayed in the US, I didn't take it.

@DaddyEvil I have Type 1.5 Diabetes. It's called LADA and is an autoimmune Disorder. Well, each one of us react differently, despite same health conditions. I got the symptoms more severe than what I got from real Covid infection after the second booster. And some stayed with me.
.
Real good doctor's keep you informed on all the fronts.

That IS very interesting information! Thank you for spotting this article and sharing it with us. I'll send it on to Pretty now.
I always get shots in my right arm/shoulder if I can. So does Pretty.
