I'm making salmon cakes. I'm basing the recipe on the one in Julia Turshen's Simply Julia cookbook. I'm not following it exactly because I don't have sour cream and onion potato chips so I'm using panko bread crumbs instead. They are crispy too. The salmon is canned so they aren't going to be expensive to make. To go with I will have jasmine rice and a steamed vegetable mixture.
That's what is happening here. What are YOU having tonight? I want to know!

There seems to be a number of members making salmon cakes lately. I might need to make some myself.

My hubby loved salmon patties. I used to make them quite often for him. I'm having my usual sandwich, veggie straws and yogurt.

Maybe boxed Mac N Cheese with bagged lettuce and black beans on the side. Right now all I know is that my simple cake is out of the oven and ready for hubby to flip onto a plate so that I can go play with powdered sugar.

That sounds delicious. Just hot dogs and french fries with tea.
