Have men become women?

Good evening.
It's almost 7pm now. Today was a good day. I've done a few makeup and eyebrow treatments for women. And now as I write I'm thinking that you've noticed that more and more men are getting the same treatments as women? Is that okay with you? I'm also interested in the opinions of the men here, do you do everything the same as women?

Social media has made men more self conscious than ever. I would raise an eyebrow to a guy wearing makeup, but that’s because it’s not common here (Oklahoma). Now, guys getting their eyebrows waxed makes me laugh. I mean, some guys really need it because of how bushy they are. But a regular guy? Even though I know it’s silly, I just can’t help thinking it’s hilarious. Give me a guy with no makeup and irregular eyebrows any day of the week. Not fair, but true.

Some are a bit too much into their appearance if You ask me. It doesn't seem very masculine.

I have male friends who get mani/pedis and a couple of them wear nail polish. I don't but I don't care if they do that. Everybody is different, after all.
I do wish more men would trim their eyebrows, though. Once in a while I'll put a shorter trimmer head on my electric shaver and run it over my eyebrows. I hate seeing anyone with "wings" where their eyebrows are supposed to be. (One of my older brothers never trimmed his eyebrows and literally had eyebrow hair sticking out over an inch long. That looks nasty to me.

@Nevena83 I wouldn't wear makeup or nail polish or dress like a woman. If a person chooses to do that i won't object but it's just not for me. People can do what they want.

@DaddyEvil I agree with you that people can do whatever they want, but I still choose for a man to be a man.

I think it's fine. Men have skin like women do. It's the same skin at it's core. So, why shouldn't they? My husband has gone to the nail place in the shopping plazza nearest our house and had both had his finger and tone nails cut. I had to explain why the foot bath was needed though.

@Nevena83 While my husband's example is purely basic huygine. It still stands, that skin is the one place that is basically the same reguardless of your gender. Boys and men get dry skin, they get pimples, dark spots.... a lot of things women do. If they want to use makeup to hide it for other reasons, why shouldn't they? We're all saying how we're different, but are we, really?

@kaylachan Very interesting explanation. I hadn't thought about it that way.

Just now
I can't imagine why they would do this but to each his/her own.

Yeah, I’ve been seeing that more lately too. I don’t know, part of me’s like “whatever makes you feel good,” but it still feels kinda weird sometimes, not gonna lie.

I absolutely agree with you. It's too much for me too, I think women should be made up, feminine, not men. Are there a lot of men out there who wear make up or dress like women?

@Dammy4life I can understand that and that's fine with me. I think a man should care about those things, not about beauty.

@Nevena83 Man, guys out here are just trying to survive. The economy’s rough, bills keep stacking up — nobody’s thinking about makeup or looking cute right now. It’s more like, “did I eat today?” than “do I look good today?”
