How Many Adults Really Want to Get Candy for Trick -or-Treaters?

I was reading a post by @kaylachan about wanting to stop and get candy in case they get trick-or-treaters. This made me wonder how many people get the candy because they really believe they will have kids at the door on Halloween or just use it as an excuse to get some candy for their snack drawer. For me, it's 60/40. I get it mostly for snacks because I know we won't have many treaters. What are your thoughts?
And, what's your favorite candy bar? For me it is the Caramello bar. What's yours?

At this house we never get any trick or treaters so I do not have to worry about it, I ate so much candy as a child I am not interesting in eating any now,

We don't have trick or treaters here. The city banned it except for businesses downtown and city hall.
Pretty and I go candy shopping the day after Halloween. I have to hide what I get for me because Pretty will take it if I don't.
I prefer chewy candies, like Tootsie Rolls and taffy. I like Milky Way bars, too, but don't often buy them.

We don't either. Haven't for many years. I think it's because we have so many families from other countries living here now.
We usually get in on the Halloween candy sales afterwards too. My grandson snatches mine too.
I like Tootsie Rolls too and we just got some taffy recently and I forgot how good it is.

@DaddyEvil .......You are a better human than I am. I would eat them much quicker I think. I tend to snack a lot in the evening.

I never get any trick or treaters. When my hubby was alive, he would always get candy and eat it himself!!! I love chocolate oranges, 3 Musketeers and any type of jelly bean or jelly candy.
