Another can't believe its so late in the month! day

It's October so for sure we've had some rain with a little wind today. I find it amazing that the walnut tree still has leaves. Hubby and I went to the pool this morning and put in 35 minutes of exercise. Move it, move it! The heat pump is cranking out warm air right now. I'm grateful I figured out how to turn the A/C off. I am going over in my mind where we will seat people in our next writer's meeting. We will have it here at the house day after tomorrow so quite close to Halloween. Hubby is going to be a Druid. Surprise! Somebody talked me into putting cat ears on my head and wearing my ratty leopard bathrobe so that I can claim to be Bast, the cat goddess. Where to seat people? As many as six people might show up so that makes eight people total crammed cozy into my living room. Old house equals odd spaces. There is kind of a vestibule by the front door/stairs going up to the second story. I think I might place my little bench there and aim our one and only cushy guest chair that way. Hubby will need to have a dining room chair on the left side so he can hear best. The six legged table will need to be on the side so that people can grab treats and cider when they are in the mood. Friend is coming in full regalia- she likes one of the Oz witches- I forget which one. She has asked me to corral Rufus. What a night it is going to be.
