Thanksgiving Plans

I am planning to go to my sisters. She is planning to bring my mom and dad down, asmwell as her kids.but the last time she had them there it ended up being a big hassle. I wasn't there but she had them sometime between Thanksgiving and Christmas. My dad almost fell getting in the house. She thought at that time, she didn't think it would be a good idea to have them come down again, but I guess as long as it is not icy she/they are willing to try it again. Her house is so small though I would like to stay at the Holiday Inn Express again..but we will see. I really should save the money. However, we totally enjoyed our stay last year. They had great pillows. What will you do for Tgiving, cooking or not?

Staying at the Holiday Inn sounds like it would be a good idea if you decide to go.
I'm going to my oldest daughters as she always does Thanksgiving. It will just depend on how many people come from our side of the family and my son in laws. Some years it's small and quiet and other years it's nuts

If everyone had come that she invited it would be nuts. Hard to fit everyone around the table

I really don’t know what we are doing. I think Thanksgiving is like four days after we get back from Disney, and my sister and her family usually come down the day after. But that’s a quick turnaround. I know for the actual day my dad goes to the family of his wife’s Thanksgiving get together.

I am partaking in a Meals on Wheels Thanksgiving lunch on that day. They will deliver it during normal delivery hours.

I used to always fix it and the entire clan showed up. That's not possible right now. My daughter that lives fairly close and her husband are having it this year. My oldest son and his family are coming, along with me and the son. He can rest there if he gets tired, so it works. Plus, the food will be excellent, and there is no stress--we aren't fancy but we can all cook, and we will bring a dish each to help out. I am really looking forward to it. I hope you have a nice time at yours, and that you can do the Holiday Inn Express if it helps.

@MarieCoyle Last year I had a bad cold and really shouldn't have gone, but I wore a mask to protect everyone ekse.

I am so happy that 3 of my 4 children will be with me, even though we will miss our Florida family.
It sounds like you will have an enjoyable time together and that's what matters most.
