Yep, really really funny ......... well, most of the time anyway.
I just had to relate this story cuz maybe it'll make you laugh, at least I hope it will.
So, back in the early 1970s there was an old woman who lived not to far from my old school and everyone was making a big deal about that bush she was so proud of, it looked so much like the one in this image.
Anyway, she was pretty old and kinda frail, or so I heard, and a few of her neighbor boys would offer to do her yardwork, espeically keeping her beautiful bush trimmed, without charging her anything. I wonder if she knew why.
I'm hoping to make you giggle so here's a song that goes right along with that scenario.

Poor old Ms. Gertrude. Quite the gardener, was she. In her heyday of course. But not all that wise in terms. A cute little bush, bought from a sweet young man one day was sold as a potted plant, which to her surprise much later, meant more than she thought it did.

Back in the late 60s and early 70s local homeowners often found these weeds growing in their yards but most people didn't know what it was because the media wasn't as wide spread as it is today plus here in EP the locals .... non military .... weren't opposed to it due to their cultural back grounds.
My mom had no clue what that weed was that turned up in her back yard ..... turns out that our back fence neighbors had a teen that was into it and when he almost got caught he threw what was left of his joint into our yard. Of course back in the early 70s not all older folks had a clue about the stuff

@rebelann Hee hee - well, for now anyway
. I was here for a wee bit last night and the bank actually moved a whole cent by morning - that hadn't happened for months now.
I assume those "bushes" grow back pretty quickly too, right? It keeps up with supply and demand

It is a pity,I can't open the link. The plants in the photo look like cannabis.maybe it was why her neighbor boys charged her nothing.

But why? Back in the early 70s not everyone was aware of this weed especially here in the desert. I'm thinking she was just happy to have a beautiful bush. Some weeds really are pretty but luckily not all share the same limelight as this one does.
