The MegaMillions jackpot is up to $843 million. I found a lady to take the place of cousin #2. She wants $5 more an hour which I expected; and she wants to be able to travel with her husband on occasion. We will have to work around that. She seems really nice and lives about 5 minutes away. I hope she works out. Maybe on the weeks that she will be away, cousin #3 can come on Saturday, pick up my groceries, make sandwiches, etc. We shall see. The parts for my washer still aren't in. I checked on the appeal I placed back in October of 2024 for my hubby's rehab bill. She said check back in 3 months. The government has ground to a halt. Breakfast - Oatmeal bar Lunch - Meals on Wheels - Beef stew (always dicey), biscuit, Brussels sprouts, carrots Dessert/Snack - Veggie chocolate muffin, unsalted peanuts Dinner - Turkey/vegan cheese sandwich, veggie straws, strawberries What did you eat yesterday? And I won't be playing of course. Not for $5 a ticket. lol For dinner it was a scrambled egg night. Mixed in hot dogs, onions, orange bell pepper and cheese. Served up with a dollop of ketchup and some buttered toast on the side. Good eats!

I have some corn dogs in the freezer. I bought them before I knew that I couldn't have processed foods. They will be yummy.

They’re talking about cutting air travel because of the shutdown…three weeks before Thanksgiving. Yeah, that’s going to set well with people. I had the usual for lunch and chicken soup and a cheese sammich for dinner, with fiber, yogurt, and applesauce!

I hope it works with this woman, it's very good to have someone coming who lives not far from you. I had a Tuscan soup for dinner with croutons.

Sounds like it might work out for you with the new lady and I guess you could work around the travel part unless she's going to be away for a long time. I really hope it works for you Linda and that you have someone reliable. Remember it's a job for her so I'm sure she'll be able to get a lot done for you.
