Diners

I love diners. Now, when I say “diners”, some of you may hearken back to the days of the show “Alice”, who worked at greasy Mel’s Diner (I caught that in reruns as it started in the 70s). Today’s diners are much nicer for the most part, and generally have less expensive food. However, the food is delicious and the portions are large. My favorite diner around here is Sunny Side Up or Shari’s Diner. Omelettes are usually what I get, and when my dad took me to breakfast Tuesday morning I had a cheddar cheese, green pepper, onion, and ham omelette. It was amazing.

Going out to eat will have to wait until I have my own money, one way or another.
I can't blame her for being worried. trump is doing really stupid things. Pretty worries that he'll cancel SNAP benefits, Section 8 and Medicaid so she wants to save all our money for when that happens. Those represent our food, payments for our rent and our medical care, all things we need.

Always enjoyed them but now I have no idea where there might be a diner, We did not have such things in Latvia,

When I lived in my last house we had a diner a few blocks away and we would eat there frequently. They had the best food and the best was taking the kids and letting them pick whatever they wanted. Even now we still talk about the days we would go to the diner and wish we had a time machine and could go back.

I do..there is one not far from here that seems to have good prices. I looked at their menu once online. I know I was impressed with the price of their brisket which is through the roof everywhere else. However, maybe they haven't updated their menu in that long.
