Shaking off a really bad day.

That's probably not a header to attract readers and comments, but hey...it's just the way it is here sometimes. There are days that I can see forward and keep both myself and my son on a positive path toward his wellness and having a future. Then once in a while, a little demon seems to deliver a butt-kicking day that is literally from the devil himself Yesterday was such a day. I would describe it but it isn't even believable, and I honestly don't want to relive every moment of it. Let's just say that we are trying very hard to shake off the negative and move forward here. I always quote the saying, ''Don't look back. You're not going that way.'' There is a reason for most things that happen to people personally. Some are harder to get past than others. But hey...there's no place to go but up! We are marching forward. Never, ever give up!

I have bad days and often long nights that leave me nearly in tears. When I get them, I remind myself.... tomorrow is a new day and a clean slate.

@MarieCoyle Yes, I think it does. I've often questioned my feelings for my husband, early into our relationship. But, now I know I love him more then I ever could. Which makes the times when his actions drive me to tears worth it. Because I know there's no malis behind it. Just his own issues triggering mine. He gets frusterated, he gets all the feels he doesn't express or know how to express anymore. And, while painful to watch I can only do so much for him.

Oh, I can definitely understand your feeling, Kayla. Our love we have for someone carries us somehow.

@kaylachan It has to be very hard, like you said he doesn't understand how to express things anymore. He had a hard life change, which led to YOU having a hard life change. I know none of this has been easy for you or for George. You and George don't give up, either.

@MarieCoyle — for the most part. I’m a little stuffy, probably because of the air quality after the plane crash. I watched the update our mayor provided, and he was clearing his throat a lot. He was at the crash site yesterday…without a mask on. (Silly boy.)

@FourWalls Air quality really does play havoc with allergies and the respiratory system. I hope it improves soon, I would imagine the closer a person gets to that plane disaster, the worse it is on them. Why a person doesn’t wear a mask while in the area is weird. I mean, a lot of the area was on shelter in place order. Silly boy is right!!

Same goes for my Housing ones. I have to believe we are given these types of days so that we enjoy and appreciate the good ones even more. I also believe that things happen for a reason. These two come back and combine in a way that makes life interesting I suppose. I hope something good happened to counteract the bad part of the day for you.

We usually can get through all the things that seem impossible, but oh, the path that leads to it can be really rocky!

I am not sure about the supermom title, but I won't ever give up on my kids...that has been my mantra for many years and has helped me make it through some tough things. Thank you, Karen.
