Quiche Night

I am a big fan of quiche. We have it about once every other month. Tonight, it is spinach and cheese. I like the asparagus one better but couldn't find good asparagus. It's all stringy this year. Ugh! Isn't there any good food available anymore? It's either so expensive you can't afford it or, it is not edible.
I guess I am just grumpy today.

Where I live asparagus are always too expensive to have them in quiches. I love them and eat them with homemade mayo when they are in season. I love quiches too. My favorite is onion and as I live alone I can make it often. Other people prefer other quiches. Spinach is my second favorite.

We don't get them often because they are expensive here too. We used to go and pick it in the spring and then we had it in our freezer year-round. Not so anymore.

@celticeagle Produce has changed in price as some of it is sold elsewhere.

@marguicha .......We have a company here in the US that sells misshapen and odd vegetables that the major grocers won't buy. Other products too, I think.

You should. You can use a lot of leftover vegs that you don't want to go to waste. Invent a new one.
