A Dividend huh?

I have been reading about this $2,000 'dividend' that Trump is proposing. I sure enjoyed the stimulus check I got back in 2020-21. Every little bit helps. But how will it be paid to us I wonder. He hasn't said that yet.
I am sure below the $75,000 income. I wonder if it will really happen. It would sure be nice for the holidays to have a little bit more than our usual if it does actually happen. But the question is how will it come to us? Less taxes? Car loan? Or do we get to choose?
The United States has a $37 trillion debt. Can you believe it? According to the Treasury Department these tariffs will apply about $3 trillion to that within a decade. That doesn't seem like much. That means it will still be taking decades to pay it off and doesn't it continue to rise?
In a recent Truth Social post Trump said this:
“People that are against Tariffs are FOOLS! We are now the Richest, Most Respected Country in the World, With Almost No Inflation, and A Record Stock Market Price. 401k’s are Highest EVER.”
I think this man lives in another dimension. He still thinks we like him.
What do you think about this new proposal of his?

I do know that. I am wanting to discuss how idiotic it is with you folks here. I won't look for it until it appears in my account. I'm sure he will find some way of not doing it too. We don't have taxes or anything mentioned

@DaddyEvil ..........Exactly. That's why I titled this the way I did. He's so delusional I think he believes the country will believe him and his ratings will go up. He's so delusional it's almost funny if it weren't so pathetic. The guy is such a liar I don't believe a word he says. Not one. My opinion goes further down the Shute each and every day.

@celticeagle Anything helps, my wife and I combined make about 115k a year and with three kids is still not enough smh

The day I see $2000 in my bank account I will do the fandango down the main avenue here and right on ahead to the beach even if I have to dance in the rain.
