Pretty in Pink - and offset as well

On our way to the Country Music Muster, we passed this ‘pretty in pink’ tractor which had ‘Lucinda’ painted on the side. However, I’ve chosen this photo of the same tractor taken from the front so you can see more clearly how it is offset. I’d never seen one like this before.
I did some research and it seems that from 1947 to 1979, a small tractor was manufactured by International Harvester in Louisville, Kentucky, under the names of Farmall or International Cub. This was marketed to small-acreage farmers and meant to replace horse- and/or mule power. The tractor was offset to the left with the driver’s seat and steering wheel were on the right, a concept known as ‘CultiVision’. You might be able to see the long rod connecting the steering wheel to the front wheels.
There is a mural on the tank behind showing everlastings. There was another tank with murals on the other side but it deserves a separate post.

Wow! Hot pink looks funny on a tractor!
I've seen tractors with off-set wheels like that before but they don't look safe to me. I know dad refused a tractor somebody tried to sell him because the front wheels were set close together... He didn't consider that type of off-set to be safe, either.

I wonder if that tractor was repainted... most tractors are either red or green.

I remember the old International Harvester plant on Crittenden Drive here in town!
It closed down while I was stationed in Hawaii.
I hadn't ever seen an offset tractor setup like that, honestly....not that I've seen all that many tractors.

It would be easy to find in amongst other tractors, that's for sure.

. I love that someone painted it pink. Never saw one painted that color before.
