Just spent an hour dealing with a cologuard kit. That's an hour of my life I will never get back. I just hope nothing is found. Anyway, we may have had flurries last night, but if they happened, I was in bed. I remember that happening a lot last year too .it would presumably snow a bit overnight, but would be gone the next day sigh! Have a great day!

My brother-in-law refuses to do a colonoscopy too so he uses a Cologuard kit. Next year, I’ll be 45 and have to get a colonoscopy. I’m unsure if I’ll be able to keep that liquid down. Hope your day is a good one.

Well, I will do one if something is indicated. The liquid is pretty nasty. Maybe you should try a Colguard kit too.

@AmbiePam I turned 45 and I got mine done. I could hardly get it down, but I did it. At least I don't have to do it next year.

We had flurries yesterday and today. My little one is home sick. I’m not sure was a cologuard Kit is.

It is to detect the possibility of cancer in lieu of a colonscopy. It is an easy alternative. They do have 14 percent false positives though. I am going to be ticked if the test indicates something I get a colonscopy and find nothing there.

@snowy22315 I hope the test doesn’t find anything and then you won’t have to deal with that at all. Have you had to have a colonoscopy before? I think at 40 or 50 we are supposed to start getting them. I can’t remember but I’m 42.

I also used a cologuard kit, I would go for a colonoscopy ONLY if something is found. Still warm here.

I have had them sent before but never used them. This will be a first.

@LadyDuck Yes, test is free here too. I think doc's office ordered it.

@snowy22315 - I did a couple of times, our pharmacy gave them and the test was free.

Hope your test comes back ok. Some of my family members have had colonoscopies and they all say the same thing. The prep is the worst and the colonoscopy itself isn't a big deal. We have really cold temps here this morning, strong gusting winds and possibly flurries (haven't seen any yet)

The one I had was a nightmare. I wasn't properly sedated. That is why I don't want another one. It is cold and windy here. Really feels like winter.

It's really warming up here now and should reach the low 30Cs today.

I wish you the best of good luck on the results of your colonoscopy.

I've had my kit for over a year. They keep sending me a new one. It's hard to get the timing right; but I'm determined to get it done because the colonoscopy prep makes me so sick.
